The WELLION LUNA blood glucose meter is a self-monitoring device.

It allows you to measure blood sugar, with a specific test strip and thanks to a drop of blood taken from the fingertip.

Thanks to a specific test strip, the reader can also measure:

• Total cholesterol
• Uric acid

However, the measurement of total cholesterol and uric acid is not available in France.

Easy to use, you must insert a test strip into the reader and put it in contact with the drop of blood taken from your finger. To do this, you can use single-use-auto-pricks or a self-pricking pen. When the blood sample comes into contact with the strip, it is absorbed by capillarity in the reaction area. The result appears in 5 seconds.

Each measurement requires the use of specific strips.

The reader has a mechanical ejection system from the strip to facilitate the removal of the strip and avoid touching the blood.
